Could I be approved with.......??

I'm currently cleaning up my credit score and I'll have it around 650 in about 2 months. (dropping my util to 0% and getting a 120 and 3 90s and 5 60s removed). My current score is 610 and with these I'm assuming that it will increase to around mid 600s based on that.

My biggest baddie is that I have a tax lien/public record on my account for about 400 bucks. I'm paying this off next pay check but the lien/record will stay on my CR for 7 years AFTER I pay it off.... will this completely disqualify me from getting an auto loan?

Again, will a public record that shows paid (tax lien) for around 400 dollars completely disqualify me from getting a car loan?

Having that on your credit report should not disqualify you from getting an auto loan unless it is a recent item. Typically, we look at your auto history including payment history and repossessions. These items would be bigger factors than the lien. Try a local credit union. They typically have more generous underwriting standards. Good Luck!

Awesome.. I was hoping to hear something like that. I have a flawless payment history with a car loan.

Do you actually write loans for dealers?
