Newbie5, Do you live on Long Island? I grew up in Jericho and sister still lives there and my parents live in Coram.

If I may ask, what is the reason for denial? IMHO most CU's pull EQ or TU or both. Ford I think is EX.

actually, i was denied because of two things: one; i didn't realize experian was still listing a tax lien as open (from 1995). that i can fix easily, i'm sending experian a lien release certificate. and i expect that score to go up as soon as they process it. they should get it on monday, i wonder how long i should wait before i run that report again....??

but the other reason is because the place i work only pays off the books. when the owner hired me he promised to get me ON the books. it was our deal. thats why i accepted the position. well, that was over three months ago. He's stalling and making excuses....

so now i'm having trouble with the proof of income part. my 2007 tax return shows me off for several months recouperating after being rearended at a light in north babylon. the no-fault salary continuation monies i lived off of were non taxable. bethpage fcu accepted my proof of tax lien release, but with the income issue,.... i'm not sure WHAT to do now...

I would wait a week and then call EX and ask if it is off your report. That wont cost you paying for a report that hasnt been updated yet.

Once it is off your report, I would try again. I dont know about yout work situation though but in IMHO your boss is breaking the law.

a little difficulty getting the right number or the right way of nagivating phone prompts... ok Marty or anyone who knows..., how do I call experian to check follow up on my written request to remove the liens from my report??

I got a number from google and followed the prompts and was hung up on! I need to buy a report from experian before they help me on the phone? what did i do wrong?
