Has your BK been discharged? If not, then you probably won't be able to get a loan. If yes, more than likely you will need to finance and not lease. You will need some cash down as well. There might be a shot of being able to lease, but at the end of the day, ford will have a say in it.

Hi All,

I currently drive a Ford Fusion (In my aunts name), and the lease needs to be returned 9/15/2012. I paid off the lease back in March or April and have never been late.

So Since the lease is going back I need to start to get ready for another vehicle. I did file BK7 in July 2010, and my current TU fico is 657. I have opened a lot of new accounts, AAoA is about 3 years, oldest account is 13.2 years old.

Do I stand a chance with Ford Motor for a lease?

Anyone know if they are BK friendly? I have had 2 installment loans from my CU that I paid early if that helps?

Any input would be great!

Thank you !!!!!!!

Yes it was discharged October 2010. I remember that someone told me that if you have a installment loan then you can get approved easier than someone who hasn't had one before. I wish they would look at my payment history on the car I have been paying on for the last 2 years and use that too. Never late, paid three months early but not in my name
