Auto Refinance - Companies that pull Equifax?

Can anyone share auto loan companies / banks / credit unions that are known to pull Equifax reports? That is currently my best score I believe and really need a lower APR than 22%. I am repairing my credit currently and will wait a while longer for my score to increase if I have to, but I really would like some choices.

It varies by state. Have you tried going to a dealer? They will typically pull all 3 and then submit your best one to the bank they think most likely to approve at the best rates. They usually have at least 6 or 7 different banks they work with.

I would just start by calling around to some local CUs or banks, and asking about their auto loans, or stopping in and having a quick chat with a loan officer. They should be able to tell you which report they'll pull, and give you a ballpark idea of their rates.

Is it possible to have an auto loan charge off from two years ago and still get refinanced? I currently have a good payment history for my current car for 18 months with no lates.

ooops sorry. Missed that in the title, just read the message part. In that case I would call around banks & credit unions and ask or go in and talk with them as suggested up thread.

Yes, It should be possible, but the rates will likely depend on your FICO score.....any chance you can get the negative account GW'd or deleted ?

That will have to be my plan of action before refinancing...gw or deleting. Is 620 equifax fico a good score for chances for refi?

I think you should most definitely be able to get a better rate than 22%.

Probably easily with a CU and 18 months of positive auto history recently.
