I wondering if you pay off a truck loan in 6 months to year will it hurt your credit score?

I paid off a vehicle in 4 months and it did not hurt my score. However, if it is your only installment loan and it closes then your score may drop a little.

Seriously don't worry about it. Pay it off & save the interest. Congrats on paying off your loan so early! Try to save up the payments you would have made in a savings account/brokerage (if you can withstand the risk of the stock markets)!

I have and $1000 installment loan now. I have not got the truck yet it will be in July or August when I have a fico score
