Hi all,

I am currently in the market to lease a 2014 RDX FWD. There is currently a very attractive national lease offer:

$0 down, $0 security, $0 First month

Ok contacted a dealer,

Net cap: 34155 (1k rebate included)

resd: 21249

MF: .00111

tax: 8.625

title and doc: 300

Please can anyone tell me if this is a great deal? Hoping it is!! I ran these numbers forward lease calculating and reverse lease calculating the number checked out. I'm just super new at this! Thanks in Advance!!!

looks pretty good to me if you are putting $0 down and including the fees in the lease too.

Yea that is what they are agreeing to!! They even sent it to me in writting (not sure if that holds any weight) I am uber excited!! I have a good gut feeling! Now my other fear is facing the finance manager or sales manager...I'm practicing in my head no add on's no add on's no additional warrianties, no add on's no splash gaurds, even if they say its free!! I don't want to show them I am intrested at all!!

And I am banking that they are going to say silly things like we can add the tilt to your sunroof...

I really appriecate the feedback!! Still open to more!!

The warrantees are definitely not needed since leasing it and it's brand-new don't worry about warrantees extended later... gap is about the only thing that possibly is okay

The GAP is included. I plan to just read line by line!! If there is anything I don't understand I will have my handy dandy smart phone!! Any fees like advertising fee's ha dream on!!

I have been reading and printing a lot so I am prepared to got ot battle. So far from this dealer it don't seem like I would have to do all that. Oh yea there is one thing that she said to me that was rather odd, when they do a credit check its a soft pull, true or false?

Also do they have to pull all three?

I would bet hp to finalize lease
Not sure what acura usually pulls but probably not all 3 but better to count on it and they take mid or high score so will work in your favor if try did

UPDATE:

All went amazing, dealers did make " innocent mistakes" 8 of them! But once pointed out quickly fixed, no hassle!!

I didn't drive him home becasue my lack of credit history. Score was 697experian ONLY pulled but not enough payment history. only 1 cc ( 2 other cc i have havent started to report yet).

I was well educated in the whole process EXCEPT the financing part. I didn't do as much research becasue I thought they only went according to scores. Lesson learned!!

Any recommendations? should I contact the uder writter on Monday?

I didn't even get a denial letter nothing, not even an option to try to go with their least expensive vehicle. or once its denied, its denied no matter how low the selling price is?

IMO wait for the cards to report. Do you need this car badly (like is your old one broken or something)?

If you can, I'd wait for the cards to report at least 6 months history and try again. Worst case, at least wait for them to start reporting.

Also you may find that it's easier to buy than lease given your credit profile. Are you willing to buy the car (ie can you afford payments at say 5% instead of a lease? Look on an amortization payment calculator to see hypothetical monthly payments for that purchase price)
