Hello everyone! I am new to this forum, but I have been reviewing the posts. I love all of the information that has been posted. I am in the market to purchase a new automobile, and would love to finance with a credit union for this purchase. Besides PenFed and NFCU(which I don't qualify to join), what are some very good credit unions you would suggest for auto financing. I live in TN and we do not have a lot to chose from here.

I appreciate all of you help in advance....

Call the local credit unions and ask what they are offering right now. If you know your FICO score they may be able to give a ballpark as to what you may qualify for without pulling your credit. I have been seeing some credit unions offer 3.99% auto loans in my area.

Good Luck!

You may want to try Alliant, based in IL. You can qualify for membership if you belong to your local PTA or join the National PTA for a $25 fee. There is a thread here that kinda gives you an idea of what Alliant requires,as far as scores and such.

Or you can try this link to compare CU rates

www.creditunionsonline.com

Good luck
