<title>topic PenFed Loan Question in Auto Loans</title>
    <link>https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Auto-Loans/PenFed-Loan-Question/m-p/5113370#M75032</link>
<description>I’ve been reading lots of good things about PenFed on here. I plan on working on my credit a little more before applying for any car loans, but my question is should I go ahead and join PenFed now and possibly try for a credit card or something to build a relationship? It will probably be a couple of months at least before I’m able to apply for a car loan and have any chance at a decent rate. Current FICO scores are EQ609/TU608/EX602.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!</description>
