BMW X3 and NFCU Loan

I'm looking at a 2017 BMW X3 sDrive28i and it is a demo car with only 4115 miles on it. Since it's never been titled, it's still considered "new" for financing purposes. MSRP is $47,845 - premium package, navigation system, (real) leather seats, driving assistance package. The online price is $39,162 but we all know that they can do better since they have 2018's and 2019's on the lot. Plus, they have 4 of these 2017 demo cars that they can't get sold for whatever reason. I plan to offer $35k and see if they laugh out loud in front of me or kick me out of the dealership for such a lowball starting position. Worst case is they say no and I leave, only having wasted a little bit of time.

Was approved by NFCU for $42k, 3.29%, 72 months - my fico EQ 08 is 710. Not sure what they pulled at this point and I had to call in for the rate since it was not auto approved. I plan on trading in my RX350 and should break close to even on it - I will not roll over any negative equity on it and will not use the entire approved amount. I do not plan on putting any money down and asked for the longer term on purpose. The current plan/budget is to have this payed off in 4 years, but I didn't want the higher DTI reporting right now.

Will be heading into the dealership tonight, with my offer on the car - will see if I can get them down to my price. My mom also works at a dealership and she has a lot of good advice on getting the best deals. She will review the paperwork for me and make sure they aren't hiding anything in the deal or adding items to the top line.
