Car loan with psecu

Did any apply for a car loan with psecu? I am thinking of applying for a used car loan. I had 3 loans approved earlier with Affinity credit union. I am not sure if I should go back to affinity or give psecu a try. Any ideas?

I have the CC and LOC combo (PSL/Visa) but haven't tried an auto loan yet. Let us know if you go for it and what happens. I have been considering them for this down the road too.

I just have so darn many EX inquiries and new accounts right now I think I need to cool everything till at least 6 more months, maybe 9 even for auto.

I got approved for one but ended up taking the dealer's financing (Wachovia) because they beat the PSECU interest rate of 4.99% (I got 3.99). It is a fast and easy process: I just filled out the online form, got approved instantly, and they send out an auto check in a week or so for the amount for which you were. You can use up to that amount to purchase your vehicle. Of course, you need to know how much you want to spend beforehand.

You can take the check to the dealer and use it to make your purchase. It's very easy, and several people I know have bought their vehicles this way. It's nice walking onto the lot with that check in your pocket.
