Hello everyone,

I am new to the threads, so forgive me if I ask a question that has previously been asked. I would like to know of auto lenders that pull only Transunion scores. I am looking to purchase a new vehicle this month and would llike to narrow down my selection. Currently I am looking at a Ford Expedition, Chev Tahoe, Nissan Armada, or a Used Escalade. Would like to finance around 35,000. Have great auto credit, went through a foreclosure 3 years ago. Good credit since then, no outstanding credit card debt.

Eq 651, TRU 690,Exp 630

Try this too: just put in your state and the credit reporting agency. Look through the list until you find a lender you are familiar with or that is obviously for an auto. Not sure if you need to register to use it or not, but if so it is painless.

[Edited to remove a link to an unapproved website.]

Message Edited by Lel on 12-04-2009 08:57 AM

i have learned alot from this board and when i was looking to buy my car i had enough knowledge to know what i was talking about when talking to a dealership. So when i was looking my first couple of questions were what CRA do you pull and can I request wjat agency. My dealership gave me the choice and i picked transunion. i doubled and tripled check that they were pulling Trans and they did. So just like looking for a mortgage go in an talk nothing but finance. Know what you are looking for but do not look at a car because(for me) new things like cars and houses cloud my judgement.

Im addicted to new car smell and if i did not hage a wife to restrain me i would buy one every year. CRAZY

If you have risky credit sometimes you have to bite the bullet and do it. The more you put down the more serious you seem to them because if you dont pay you lose more money. You would fight harder to keep a car if you put $4000 down than if you got it for $0 down or $1000 down is their attitude and seems to work statistically as well. That is the price a rebuilder has to pay.
