IFS - Infiniti Financing Pre-Approval offer

Hi Gurus,

I need your help please. my current lease will be up on 12/13/2020 started 9/12/2017. I currently have 2018 Q50 Red Sport Loaded everything. when I got this lease my plan was to purchage the car afterwards. now I have a change of heart lol. Every 2 months or so I keep getting these pre approval notices in my IFS portal telling me I'm approved over $1,200 monthly (Infiniti doesn't offer a car that would be this high lol this is M5 territory which I don't want to pay lol. Also I don't care much about monthly payments. I care more about interest rate/money factor and total price of the car). It does not reference a tier. just the monthly amount. does anyone have any insight on this?

To let you know what I'm thinking:

If I can find an irridium blue red sport with with the white interior fully loaded with carbon fiber package I'm game. But I'm also slowly looking for a 2017 or 2018 M3 Compition package M3 to finance. I'm not ruling out purchasing my lease car because that was my original plan. Cap1 Navi says I'm pre-approved for 55k so a used M3 is doable (just a thought).

current scores which will probably increase by 6/12/2020 as I lower UTI:

Ex Auto - 692

TU Auto - 703

Eq Auto - 695

scores were substantially lower when inital lease was done.

Any help/insights will be greatly appreciated.

My understanding is that the auto generated preapprovals from IFS are Tier 1

@sccredit thanks for sharing. I was beginning to wonder if I was on my own lol. If I purchase another infiniti I will provide the DP on if it's truely tier 1 or not.

Appointment tomorrow morning with Infiniti. Wish me luck and hopefully I get a deal. If not I'm going to go used m3 route.

Congratulations on your new Q60. I have a quick question, I am in the same situation, my wife's QX60 is at lease ends and I am receiving preapproved letters. When you visited the dealership, did they run your credit again, since my score has went down, I have been late on a few credit cards. But my car payment always on time. thanks.
