Does Navy Federal approve auto loans on weekends?

Hello my husband and I applied for an 80k auto loan yesterday (saturday) and all it said was processing. Any other time the approval has been same day approval. Not sure if because it is a weekend that makes a difference or Covid. Now I am just worried because no one has called or anything.

Give them a call and ask for the status. They do approve loans on the weekends.

I'm guessing no instant approval means that the app got kicked for Underwriter approval. In my experience they did have reduced staff on weekends so you'll probably get an answer some time tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

If they still operate in the same manner when I've had to call them in the past, you should be able to call up and get a CSR to get a decision on your app if you don't want to wait until they reach out first.
