BK dropping off early???!!

Hello fellow BK filers/dischargers and all in between

can a chapter 7 BK drop off early?

I am 9 years post BK, and according to experian ( it is scheduled to stay on record until november of this year 2014)

any hope, or realistically I have to wait until December of this year to see clear reports across the board

appreciate any insight or experience

I can't answer your question, I am 3yr post BK7, but I just wanted to say congrats to you for seeing the big bright light at the end of the BK tunnel! I am excited to see your score journey...gives me more hope & patience.

Start disputing it as obsolete 6 months prior to its drop off date.

I don't recall anyone saying they had a BK fall off 10 months, but stranger things have happened.

My Ch 13 drop off month would have been next month (Feb 2014), but Exp dropped it in November 2013, TU dropped it a few weeks ago, and ScoreWatch (EQ thru MyFico) alerted me a about a week or so ago that my score is no longer being hurt much by my public record.. It didn't specifically say it was removed and I haven't pulled an EQ report yet. The Exp FICO went up about 10 points, the EQ went up about 10 points and the TU went up 50 points. TU use to be my very lowest FICO score, now it is my highest by 2 points. Go figure!!

So if your BK drops early, I would be surprised if it started dropping from the bureaus this early. But if it does, let us know.

I did get the score watch alert as well that BK is no longer affecting my score. but its still on there

Thank you pokerpro.. Because of the way it was worded, I kinda hand a feeling it was still appearing. Seems it would be removed at the same time, I mean is should remove in February.. But I have noticed on here it seems EX and TU are more likely to drop Ch 13's early than EQ.. Not much longer though...

Wow, u have already gotten that scorewatch and have until November 2014.... and I just got that scorewatch within the last few weeks and my 7 yrs in February 14....Go Figure!!!
