llb Collection account removal success

After reading many post on how to remove collection accounts included in bk from my credit report I decided to give it ago. Eastern Account Systems was showing for a debt from Comcast for unreturned equipment, which wasn't true. I didn't know of this until I filed my bk and didn't fight it because it would be discharged anyway. After making sure it was reported correctly on my reports. I went filed a complaint with BBB this morning against Eastern Account Systems stating I was never notified by the oc or them about this debt until pulling my cr's in August of this year. There has never been an account from the oc on my report stating any type of balance was owed when services were disc in 2011 and to please remove this from my cr since I am no longer legally responsible since filing bk.Within an hour of filing the complaint my issue has been resolved and Eastern Account Systems is removing the collection from my cr stating it could take 4-6 wks to complete. Now the waiting to see how much my score rises.

Congrats and good luck! I will be interested to see what happens score wise. I had 1 or 2 removed and didn't see any score increase. Keep us posted!
