Finally received my Chapter 7 discharge!

Hello,

After what seemed like an eternity my Chapter 7 BK was finally discharged. Now I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I would like any information that you all can provide on a plan to help begin the rebuilding process. I read something about the BK-700 plan but unable to find any information on that topic.

I do have ONE credit card that surived the BK. A Nordstrom store card that I didn't include on my schedules because it had a 0 balance. I'm not certain if they will close it after I use it again and they find out I filed a BK.

I would take all information to help me get started back on this long journey of rebuilding! Thanks everyone!

I have not been following it completely, but it does have some good ideas. I did go ahead and open a secured card. I got mine through OpenSky. It doesn't pull credit so is a great way to get a card without a credit pull.

That is one of the things to avoid is a lot of early credit pulls. Cap1 is famous for doing a pull on each bureau, but they are also great for those of us recovering from BK7.
