Chapter 7 Discharged!!!!!

Well, after what seemed like an eternity, my chapter 7 was finally discharged! It is such a great feeling. I feel like my life can unfreeze and I can begin the process of starting over.

I am going to follow the BK-700 plan to the "T".

Any idea how long before my CR's reflect the discharge?

It can take up to 30 days to reflect the discharge.

Mine took like 4...

I didn't pull my reports until 2-3 weeks post DC. 75% was updated at that point. Another 15% updated within the next 2-3 weeks. 10% was cleanup/disputes after that.

I cleaned up all of my reports to show IIB on everything. Just want to start the rebuilding process.

Congrats! Welcome to the world of post-discharge rebuilding. There will be highs and lows....focus on the destination, not the highs...and especially not the lows, and you will make it through.

Hey there! I'm not too far behind you! I filed a couple of weeks after you on 5/26..I should be receiving my discharge soon. Could you update me on how long it took for your discharge to reflect on your credit report? Thanks! Can't wait to start my rebuild!

Just got a MYFICO alert that my BK was updated to discharged on my EQ. So it looks like it only took a few days.

Wow that was super fast, tomorrow is the last day for ours and final day for any objections so I hope our discharge comes in a few days as well. With monday being a holiday i'm doubtful but its just around the bend now Congrats!

I got my discharge yesterday and got an alert from MyFico this morning. Only reflected on Experian though, credit score went up 18 points!!

Congrats! It's weird, my EX and TU went up around 20 points with no discharge shown and my EQ shows discharged and did not go up.

Same here! My Experian went up 18 points but I got the alert for Equifax just a little a while ago and my score stood the same on EQ. Hoping it goes up with TU. It's my lowest score at 474.
