Discharge waiting game....

Hello. I've spent a lot of time in here reading about everyone's Chapter 13 stories. I've never posted anyting though. Figured I'd take a minute and vent to some people that can actually understand my pain. lol I completed my ch13 on Feb 16. Now, I'm just playing the waiting game for my discharge. It's driving me crazy! 57 days in the awaiting discharge status on Pacer. I got my refund, and the final payments were sent on 3/25 all but one are showing to have cleared on 13network....that one that isn't showing cleared was the final payment on the split claim for my truck...go figure. I can log into were I used to make my payments before ch13 and see that that last payment has posted to the account even though it's showing to not have cleared. I dunno...I wish this would end already.

I understand your frustration. Although I did not file chapter 13 I filed chapter 7 and the waiting game was really getting to me. I kept checking pacer every day until I seen the word discharged. I was so happy on that day. I knew it was over and I could begin the process of rebuilding. I am still rebuilding after 2 years post discharge. But I continue to remind myself that this not a race and it will take time.

I feel your pain. Mine literally took 120 days after my last payment. After a 5 year ch 13 those 120 days felt like an eternity. I have no idea why it took so long. Some people on these boards were lucky enough to only wait 30 days. Hang in, there if you received your refund your not far away from freedom.

Mine took a little over 60 days from when I made my last payment. I paid mine off early with a large lump payment. I think my trustee was on a schedule so they only paid the creditors one time a month and I had missed that date for the month.

Hang in there - it'll happen before you know it. it's like a huge weight off your shoulders. The next milestone for me is when it will fall off my credit report.

I filed mine on 3/18/2011 and it is May and I am still making payments! Attorney and Trustee keeps telling me last payment will be done soon...I have called them couple times and each time they said the same thing...frustrating not knowing when...

Same here...made one final lump payment. When they sent payments out after that in Feb they didn't even send enough to pay everyone off....really ticked me off as I had to wait ANOTHER month til the end of March for them to send payments again. Here we are in May and I'm still waiting...

joot, have you looked your case up on 13network or NDC? All your payment info and balances are on there for you to access.

I filed on 1/25/2011 and I had to call my attorney to have the payments stop at the end of March. I'm waiting on a $2000 refund but still no discharge. Bummed in Oregon.

Mine discharged on Wed the 12th finally! So far only Equifax has reflected the discharge. My score did not change any
