Your Experiences with TDAUTO during BK Chapter 7

Me and my wife are doing a chapter 7 BK and well after debate we decided we wouldnt be reaffirming her loan on her car since the car is not worth the amount we owe, Plus I was able to carpool with my co-worker. My question to anyone here is will TD Auto come for the car asap or only after the discharge is finalized? We are due for a discharge by the end July (hopefully).

The judge will likely allow them to pick it up right after the 341 meeting. If you continue to make payments they might not pick it up until you quit.

Well that's the thing j was trying to I find out if they can or can't pick it up. I just rather not pay if they are going to pick it up so we can save some cash.

My plan was to not pay anymore.

If you don't continue payments I would assume they will repo the car within 4 months. As always YMMV especially since every lender is different. If you continued to pay on the vehicle there would be a big chance that they don't come repo the car.
