Just looking to have a store card - 6/22 was my BK 7 date - I was able to get a Capital One Quicksilver 1000 CL

I tried multiple times after chapter 7 (12/14) and denied all within first 12 months after discharge. Finally after 13 months approved for 400 SL, but now at 1500 less than 9 months later. Good luck!

Congrats on your Cap1 QS! Is it reporting on your cr yet?

Let it report at least 2-3 months with low utility. Then perhaps apply for a store card where you shop.

Warning: don’t go crazy with store cards especially with Comenity.

I personally did not get any store cards until after I got my major cards. I didn’t want to be stuck with a lot of low limit cards or denied majors bc I had added a ton of store cards to my cr in a short time.

I had dismissed BK in 05, in 09 was at Macys they asked if I wanted their card as I would get 20% off what I was buying, I said prob wont be approved but go ahead, it was approved for 300 they were the second I got after the dismissal in 05 and 2 months after Kohls
