Finally Bankruptcy Fell Off

Today my bankruptcy has finally fell off my last credit report (Experian). Today was the first Sunday of the month and 3 months early exclusion. I did not have to request. Score only went up 64 pts. Experian is my lowest score at 769. Probably the reason is because my credit age is 1.7 years. Didn't use credit for 8 years after bankruptcy filling. Started building when i bought my house. Transunion early exclusion was a little over 6 months early. Requested online. Equifax never had my bankruptcy.

Outstanding, I recently got mine off transunion just under 3 years early. Trying and looking forward to the day when all my reports are clear again

Interesting, when my Chapter 13 fell off about a year ago my average credit age was only about a year, and like you, prior to getting my first card after my discharge, I'd been in credit jail for about 8 years as well. What is different though is Experian, which was my lowest set of scores prior to the drop-off, rocketed from the mid to high 600s to well over 800; said another way, I'm surprised your Experian score only went up 64 points. I wonder if your next report will show another jump.

I'm hoping it still goes up. I have 3 credit cards opened about 8 to 10 months ago. Refi two cars this time last year and refi my house to 2.35 this time last year. That could have something to do with it. I do AZEO. No late payments.

I did try for a preapproval for Amazon, Chase and Wells Fargo and it's still no dice. Idk how long until I'll be able to get one of those cards. Waiting until the 8th for Chase to update my score on their app before I loose faith.

In the year since my bankruptcy fell off, I've applied for two credit cards and one car loan; needless to say, my scores have taken a bit of a hit as a result (now down in the upper half of the 700s). I told you that to tell you this; my latest application for a Chase credit card (Chase was IIB in my Chapter 13) was A) unintentional, and B) successful none-the-less.

Prior to going into my local chase branch back in December I checked Chase preapprovals and got zip, not suprising given they were burned for something north of $10,000 back in 2015; my visit to the branch was specifically to open a checking and savings account, and while going through the innumerable forms the bank associate asked me if I wanted to open a credit card as well. On a whim I said sure, how about a CSP, and bang, I was approved with a starting limit of $11,700. Yeah, I was a tad surprised.
