So august 2022 is officially 4 years post bk 7 filed. Discharge date is officially dec 2022 so that will clear the exact 4 year mark

I originally started the rebuild mission lane $500 SL + annual fee 49$ Il take it for rebuild only scores around 590- 600.

3 months later applied cap 1 $2500 SL

6 months after discover only 6k

fast forward to aug 2022. And boom

NFCU cash reward $37,000

NfCU platinum $33,000

Discover $14,500

chase freedom ul $17,500

cap 1 $3,000

infiniti lease total 22,600 pos $200 more per month to rebuild credit. SMH.

CL $105,000

leased a 2020 infinit

Scores are 710 exp 714 tu and 724 eq

if you play the credit game correctly based on these forums you will rebuild. The light is at the other side of the tunnel. You must work diligently towards rebuild and learn from past mistakes.

my next goal is a conventional mortgage which I will be applying for come December 2022 or anytime after when I find the home I want.

Thanks i remember you telling me back in 2020 i wouldnt see the 700s till at least the 3rd year. whats crazy is how fast the time goes. By the 3rd year i was around 700 ex 705 and about 710. Now when i do azeo i sit over 720. I want to get the amex but i heard you have to wait till the bk7 is off the report. im going to open an llc build the credit on the ein and possibly app for the amex platinum buisness.

If you didnt burn amex in your bk you can get an amex after 5 years 1 month

Really? Ha! Right on schedule. Im stuck till the end now. Peaked at 749 for a short period. 730's love me. I'm cool with it.

@JcNyC1111Did you burn AMEX? If not. Its 5yrs and 1 month and you can apply.

I did not burn Amex. Never had them before. I will apply for them in feb 2024

2023 will be the year of the mortgage. 4 years post bk discharge dec 2022 so I can qualify for conventional mortgages.

Fast forward to January 2025 6.5yr post bk. my

equifax 816 other 2 scores 725 730. I had Lexington law remove bk from EQ credit somehow. And then received a settlement check from them a month ago lol.

navy fed 50k limit CR

had a navy fed personal loan 35k paid back same year 2023.

Navy fed Platinun 30k.

Amex BC 50k

Discover 34k

chase freedom 25k

chase inked business 30k

Started with Infiniti lease back in 2020

now have bmw lease 2023

I haven't stopped the rebuild since 2018.

the light is at the end of the tunnel and sadly enough time flies fast. What a rebuild it has been. My first rebuild card was a $500 mission lane credit card.
