Chase time frame

Hello,

I filed for ch7 in April 2024 and was discharged Aug 2024. I never had any Chase credit lines/loans with them. I've been banking with them for a few years now which I'm sure that really doesn't matter.

But does anyone have any kind of time frame or experience as to when they will let you in if you haven't burned them at all?

I'm sure it's too soon for me being in roughly 10 out from discharge, just wanted to see how much longer it could be before I could try and apply for one of their cards.

There's been a few people who said they got approvals from Chase while a BK was still on their reports (6 to 8 years in). For the overwhelming majority of people though, if there's a BK on reports, it's a denial on credit cards.

I knew they were not BK friendly, just not THAT BK friendly.

Guess I got 9 years to go!

Yeah for Chase it is closer to 10 Years not Months.

I'm wondering that's why I try to prequal for the Amazon visa it tells me the can't prequal because they can't access my credit report even though none of my reports are frozen. Kinda makes sense now.
