      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have been patiently waiting for an answer on the United Explorer Business Visa. &amp;nbsp;The application was submitted on Nov 17th. &amp;nbsp;It was not an instant decision. &amp;nbsp;It went pending and the automated line says two weeks. &amp;nbsp;It has been 18 days and it still says two weeks. &amp;nbsp;Should I just sit tight and wait it out? &amp;nbsp;I applied for the Slate on Nov 7 and was denied. &amp;nbsp;Received a 7-10 message and a letter in the mail within a few days. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice? &amp;nbsp;Is there verification phone number only. &amp;nbsp;I know I don't want to talk to lending been down that road. &amp;nbsp;Exp score at 665 with 10+ new accounts since May 2015. &amp;nbsp;One other Chase credit card approved (Disney) on Nov 4, 2015.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Interesting note. &amp;nbsp;I called into the automated line this morning again. &amp;nbsp;Now the message has changed from a two week message to a 30 day message? &amp;nbsp;Not sure how significant that is but I thought I would at least post it. &amp;nbsp;This application is now 21 days old. &amp;nbsp;I have been a chase customer for &amp;nbsp;8 or 9 years. &amp;nbsp;I bank with them for both business and personal.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I called the status line again to listen to the message. &amp;nbsp;One other change in the language is that it went from "we are reviewing the application" to you will be notified of our decision with 30 days from the date of the application. &amp;nbsp;I just couldn't take it any longer and decided to call customer service to check for verification. &amp;nbsp;The rep said the application was "pending". &amp;nbsp;There are no outstanding verification items.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Checked the automated status line this morning. &amp;nbsp;Message has been changed to "Your application is being reviewed. &amp;nbsp;You will be notified in 7-10 business days of our decision". &amp;nbsp;Guess that means a denial. &amp;nbsp;Is it time to call in or should I wait for the letter?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any sense in applying for the Southwest or Marriot cards? &amp;nbsp;I would really like a Chase Business card to separate my personal and business expenses. &amp;nbsp;My score is 660 on Experian with 10 new accounts since May 2015. &amp;nbsp;There is an open tax lien but no collections. &amp;nbsp;There is one baddie from a 30 day late on a car payment from Jan 2014. &amp;nbsp;My utilization is at 23% currently.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It sounds like it's likely been declined, so chose the option for declined credit or adverse action.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It sounds like there may be a few issues preventing approval, which is why I would suggest getting to the bottom rather than waste additional HPs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you have the credit disclosures and the letter in hand, you could try to call and recon. With the disclosures already in your hand, if you can answer the issues with the report they may be able to approve on reconsideration.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even though it's a business account, Chase will rely on your personal credit. Under 700, with 10 new accounts in the last six months, and an open tax lien are three negatives that may impede the approval.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I finally received the denial letter from Chase re: &amp;nbsp;my application for the United Explorer Business Card. &amp;nbsp;The reasons for the denial are as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. &amp;nbsp;Not enough time has passed since your last account with us was opened&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. &amp;nbsp;Credit report shows judgement, tax lien, public record, or collection&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. &amp;nbsp;Your credit report reflects delinquent past/present credit obligations&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fico Experian 669 on 11/7/15&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was approved for a Chase Visa Disney card on 11/4/2015 with a $4500 limit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do have a tax lien which is open on my credit report. &amp;nbsp;I am paying it off via an installment agreement and have made every payment since it was implemented in August 2014. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do have a 30 day late on a car payment from Jan 2014.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are no collections open or closed in my file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Venture 15k, Disney 4.5k, RCU 5k, &amp;nbsp;Lowes 5k, Amazon Store Card 5k, Cap 1 QS One 2k. &amp;nbsp;I hav opened about 12 new accounts this year which includes all of the ones mentioned and some Comenity store cards. &amp;nbsp;Utilization is about 20% but will go down when I pay the balance on my Venture down this month to zero. &amp;nbsp;AAoA = 3.5 years.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want this card to be able to separate my personal and business expenses. &amp;nbsp;I have banked with Chase for over 8 years and have a &amp;nbsp;good history with them but the Disney card is the first CC I've had with them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, here is my Question.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the best way to approach the recon? &amp;nbsp;What should say and most importantly not say to the analyst?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance for your assistance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
