Which AMEX for Small Business

I have 2 AMEX personal cards (Platinum Charge Card & Delta Skymiles Credit Card). My EXP is 720 Fico.

I'm considering a small business card from AMEX.

Which of these tend to have the most generous starting Credit Limits? I do large inventory purchases quarterly and pay it off in 6-8 weeks in full, so I need to be able to carry a balance for a bit.

AMEX Lowes for Biz
AMEX Simply Cash for Biz
AMEX Blue for Business
AMEX Starwood for Biz
AMEX Delta (Platinum, Gold, or Reserve)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How much limit you are approved for is an aggregate of your current limits as determined by the algorithm Amex uses. I have seen people with massive credit lines in the 5 digits get approved for 4 digit starting limits on their Amex business cards.

So your question will be hard to answer. It will all come down to your assets, gross income, credit worthiness etc...

Why not get the plum card? It allows you to pay up to 60days late with no interest and also gives a 1.5% discount on the bill when you pay early.

I don't know specifically about limits, but if you're looking for 6-8 weeks, I would concur with the recommendation for the Plum card.

If you make purchases from Lowe's, there is a Net55 version of the Lowes card, issued by Synchrony Bank, that might make more sense for Lowe's purchases.

You can have four revolver (credit) cards - so the Amex Simply Cash Plus is a good option, although it won't give you the 6-8 weeks all of the time; you could end up with only four weeks depending on the purchase date.

It appears as if Amex is now allowing people to have at least 5 revolvers. Quite a few instances of it happening here and other sites.

Selection would depend on which card you'd use the most

Example how much use will you get from Lowes? In my case I use the heck out of mine but I'm a contractor

An accounting business would have no use for it

Get my meaning? (inventory)

Do you travel for biz? If so maybe a travel card If not Cashback would be the better option

Get the card that you know you will use. If you get the plum card, be sure to use its rewards/benefits because that card has a steep annual fee. I don't know about many, but I don't just throw money around on annual fees just to have the card. I will get a card and use it, making sure I take advantage what they offer me.

The Plum is actually a fantastic card. I have it and its benefits outweigh the annual fee of $250. I see what you are saying but based on OP's post, it is a card he /she should definately look at.
