American Express Simply Cash Plus Approved

Finally after many mix ups and the India call center giving wrong information and a letter never coming and supposedly them never accessing credit report even though we called in with 1-time pin, Gave them another 1-time pin to EX and after a brief hold was given an instant approval of $25k!!!

Congratulations, and thank you for expanding your relationship with American Express OPEN. Your application for the SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card has been approved.

He had to close a card because he was at the max number of cards, the Blue for Business he closed was $4002 CL so this is incredible.

The New Accounts guy said "The starting limit is $25k but don't worry when you receive the card and activate it you can request more!"

I'm very interested in that statement!!!

Out of ALL the different departments and call centers for Amex what brainy person decided it was a great idea to make the "New Accounts" team in INDIA!!!

I mean what type of credit system does India even have?!

It is so frustrating to go to another country for the most important part of the application process

HOLY BATMAN... I take back my frustrations... it was approved for $25k and he said "But as soon as the card comes and you activate it you can ask for more!"

I agree with you 100%. Not sure what kind of credit system they have over there but curious to know none the less.

Congrats on the approval. The CSRs always give that line about increasing the limit. You still have to wait the 61 days if you havent received any CLIs from them in the last 6 months.

I had a friend recently get an instant two times current credit line increase at activation... you dont have to wait 61 days anymore.

Doesnt matter where the call center is located. ITs about the trainging. Also, I believe overrides/reconsidersations are done in Utah.

This card is PRETTY!!!

Also called in on my Member Date being 2016 and without a blink he said "I see you should be 1999, I'll get that updated and you will have a new card in 3 days!"

I was like, Can you also update my Plum Card? "YES, Absolutely"

I had previously been told each business start date = member since date and they don't backdate to an old business member since date or your personal member since date so excited to get these 2 updated... just for my own mind!

I see one of those cards in my future also, as an upgrade to the old Simply Cash card.
