Agree with the previous poster's comments. D & B has become yesterday's news (they used to provide a medium for reporting when companies manually reported vendors and you paid 10 net 30 and so on also D & B became so intense acting like a superior marketing machine it turned me off - personal observation) with automated credit reporting. Keeping Biz Equifax and Biz Experian happy will serve your purpose.

I went to d&b iupdate to get my duns number. It would not recognize me. I then left everthing the same except change the name from mines to my wife and it recognized her. (she's a partner)I know all her info including ssn so i verified her info. My issue is that she does not handle any of the business and I'm in the middle of trying to build business credit so how do I get the business verified under my name? Understand I am a newbie and don't know exactly what I'm doing but I need do get this corrected so that I can move forward.

Honestly I wouldn't waste your time with D&B. Time after time again, we've learned that D&B is really not a major player in the business credit world anymore. I would look at your Biz Equifax and Biz Experian report and work on making sure those are good. Updating them with correct information is totally free unlike D&B. Just my two cents..
