Sam’s Club changes?

Had some strange Sam’s club adventures.

Apped for the business MC in store.

The lady at the counter seemed confused when it came back already approved. She called Synchrony and she said they fixed it and I was approved.

She couldn’t tell me the limit though. (🤥)

Fast forward a week and a half and I get a letter from Synchrony telling me I was denied because I “was previously approved”.

Called Synchrony and was told that now my account was completely messed up and no business app was showing.

(Never received a HP)

She told me to go back to the store and app again and then get the store manager and Synchrony on the phone if I had too.

i went back to Sam’s and talked to another clerk along with the original and was told Sam’s no longer had a business MC as of last Monday. Now it was a hybrid of personal/business.

The app is still on the Sam’s web site though.

Either Sam’s, Synchrony or both are confused.

i will have more time tomorrow to get to the bottom of this

Seems to still have it.... print this out and bring it in.

However it seems they only have one membership type now.... not a seperate "business" membership

...and they got a $45 business membership out of me 2 weeks ago to start all of this😒

What did you find out?

Went into the store yesterday to cancel the card a former worker failed to return, decided to app for the biz card. Took about 20 minutes as they had trouble with the system getting the app through, then the second person redid something on it and sent it through as personal, which was not what I wanted. Then her coworker showed her how to submit under biz, all while on the phone with Synch. Then the big issue for Synch became why it was submitted twice. So now I’m waiting for a letter.

Finally had time to go back in today and had a competent person run the app with no problems.
Same issue as you though..
2 apps on personal because of the PG.
I’ll wait for the letter, but I’m probably moving on.
3 HP's. 1 each on Experian business, Experian and Equifax.

I have Fleetcor, Lowes and Spark.

Waiting on word from NFCU

I'm going to let Fleetcor and Lowes age a few months before trying anything else.

Quill wanted 90 days of overpriced stuff.

Granger kept asking for more documentation. Decided i have better things to do

Thanks for your response. Called yesterday, apparently they submitted the personal side twice and business side once. Plus somehow canceled my auto renew. I'll just wait for the letter, get the personal inquiry deleted and go from there.

Fleetcor wants a $500 deposit.

Think I'll wait for these next two closings to finalize and then pay attention to this side again.
