In shock! Chase Ink Business Preferred APPROVED

My first Chase credit card app ever. Had bad blood with them many years ago and didn't want to do business with them again. I guess I'm a forgiving person. I currently have the Chase Freedom which I was grandfathered into when Chase bought the bank who issued my Visa card 10 years ago. Chase surprising increased the limit on the Freedom recently after 8 years of being suck at the same CL. Any way, shortly after the CLI on the Freedom, I started getting offers to apply for the Ink Business Preferred card (it had been listed under my offers under my account as well). I waited about 7 months before I applied. I applied about 20 minutes ago and got instant approval. SL is $25k. Not sure which report they pulled, but as of a week ago, I was 749 TU, 741 EQ and 739 EX (all FICOs).

Now let's see if our small LLC can spend enough to get the 80,000 bonus points!

Always a little jealous when I read these types of posts. I applied for that card back in Nov, and according to Chase I am over 5/24, but in reality I am not. But whatever. :-)

LOL! Thank you! In case anyone's wondering, they pulled EX for me. Down 7 points from that one inquiry too. I had 2 inquiries on EX already (from a year ago). Have not received the card in the mail yet, but I'm getting concerned about the $5k spend for the bonus. I've calculated that we'll spend about $3k in 3 months. Too bad balance transfers do not count.

That's awesome, you inspired me to apply. 80k UR points bonus on $5k spend first 3mo, plus the 12mo 0% deal, and I have the CSR personal so get good value for the points @1.5 cents so the bonus alone is like $1200. We do a lot of travel for business as we are in the software industry, so the 3% CB on travel and food will be pretty solid for us.

My FICOs are 772 EX / 790 TU not sure about EQ, not sure what they pulled.

They gave me $30k to start which is a pretty good SL!

I do hope that it doesn't report the account on personal CR, assume they won't. Can anyone confirm?

Congrats!! That's an awesome SL!! The Ink cards do not report to personal CRs unless you default. Enjoy the card!

There's a way to manufacture your spend to meet the goal. If you have a monthly rent payment that should swallow a nice chunk of that within the timeframe if you're savvy enough. That's 3 months plus pay a month in advance to make 4. There's a small 2.50% finance fee but it's worth it.

Took about a week, but I received the 80,000 bonus points a few days ago.
