AMEX Business SimplyCash Plus Approved

Excited to be approved for AMEX Business SimplyCash Plus to use for my blogging advertisement purchases and wireless usage. Does anybody have experience with this card and anything I should know that you have learned?

I have more experience with the Amex Simply Cash than with the Simply Cash Plus. In my experience it was very hard to find out which purchases were being considered 'bonus' purchases, and when I could figure it out they were not giving 'bonus' rates for things which would have appeared to be within a bonus category. E.g. I had selected advertising as my 3% category, and 90% of my advertising expenses were not considered advertising by Amex.

So I would say it might not be all it's cracked up to be.

Thank you for your reply!! Majority of mine goes through facebook and Instagram and since Instagram is owned by Facebook and charges are by Facebook and talking to Amex, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Also helps me to keep all the business expenses on one card.

I hope you do better with it than I did. About 90% of my online advertising was treated as "other" rather than as "advertising" and awarded only 1% rather than 3%.

And if you can figure out a way to find out which purchases are getting the bonus cash back, please let me know your method. I have not found any method other than guesswork, working back from the monthly totals, which is the only information I get.

A cynic might think they deliberately make it less than transparent because they're not really paying the bonus cashback they're supposed to be paying.
