Staples Business- anyone successful getting a cli?

Is Citi Staples as hard to crack as Citi Home Depot when it comes to sharing the "luv"?

If you were sucessful in receiving a cli how did you do it? (online, called in)

What was your sl and how long did it take to increase your sl?

Staples was much easier in my experience. Started with a Staples Commercial More Net30 for $1500, then went to revolving $1500, and then finally to $3000 (all within the last year). I always called in for CLI's. When my limits went up on other reporting cards like Amazon Net 55, I would ask for another Staples increase.

My Home Depot experience has been the difficult one. 3 denials for the Net 60 No PG, so I switched over to Lowe's AR last year. 1st time approved. May go back to HD, but I don't really need it all that much. It's a strong reporting account (will report to all 3 if you ask) though from Citi.

Mine is revolving and online they want to know your bank acct. #, bank name, bank phone #, trade references, d&b #. Odd they didn"t ask for this to begin with. Citi acts very ...idk weird. Would it be a hp like Home Depot?

It just depends how you pay your bill. I would suggest calling and talking to a rep. Citi reps are very helpful in my experience.

Only if you PG'd the account, but I would talk to the rep about that as well. Have they given you any CLI's?
