Chase Ink Preferred Approval @Christmas Eve

Just want to shout out that I finally got Chase Ink Preferred that I've waited for 2 years since I got my Chase Ink Cash. I will downgrade my Chase Sapphire Reserve next February when my annual fee hits. I don't think there is any Chase cards I want for now. (Of course, I want JP Morgan Reserve but it's just not realistic to me lol)

Kind of curious how they feel about approving people so close to teh Holiday, consider the card wouldn't really see any Holiday spend.

Probably not an issue on BIZ cards, but I've seen several approvals for personal card the last two days.

After Christmas shopping? New Year's Eve, and New Year's resolutions with new gym memberships maybe?

I tend to think that they think that any business is good business.

Many companies do Christmas parties and gift giveaways. The main company I work for did quite an open bar spread at a Hilton and paid for rooms for the night. Someone, somewhere hopefully made a ton of MRs or URs that night.
