BB&T Spectrum Business Approved $15,000.00

I got confirmation this morning that my last and final app for 2020 was approved.

I got the BB&T business spectrum with 9 months @ 0%. I would recommend if you have a business and live within their area to give it a shot. I did a soft pull prequalify for the normal BBT and figured since they were showing 3 normal cards, I would most likely qualify for the business version. Only difference is the limit is probably much higher than the normal would have been.

If I can do this, anyone can. Last year I had 1 unsecured credit card with a $300.00 limit. I became addicted to the forums and have probably read over 3000 posts.. It took some time but in the end my life will be dramatically different as a result of the people here. Thank you all.

Here is the list of the cards I picked up since my rebuild and the order in which i received them.

11/18 Capital one QS1 $300.00 Triple pull

8/19 Apple Card $8,500.00 Transunion Pull

9/19 Regions Business Enhanced Visa $10,000.00 Transunion Pull

9/19 Regions Prestige $5,500.00 Transunion Pull (Personal Card)

9/19 American Express Business Gold NPSL Experian Pull

9/19 American Express Hhonrs $2,000.00 Experian Pull (Personal Card)

9/19 American Express Everyday $1,000.00 Experian Pull (Personal Card)

11/15/2020 Synovus Business rewards $20,000.00 Equifax Pull

11/17/2020 BBT Business Spectrum $15,000.00 Equifax Pull

(You can see the difference between personal accounts and business.. I don't see the need to focus on personal cards at all.. )

All three bureaus are now frozen :-)

Just wondering since your BIZ SL seem much higher then on personal side.

You will have to PG all business credit cards from a bank,unless your business is doing astounding numbers in revenue. The no PG deal that's running rampant on the internet is for people who want to open multiple net 30 accounts and spend enormous amounts of money on unneeded products. To obtain a Sam's club,Home depot card etc with no PG.

My Apr on the business card is 16.74%. I dont remember if they showed me an interest rate on the personal cards.

I did have to sign a PG and I don't believe it shows up on my personal report.

Just for the end game of getting a Sam's club/Home depot card etc NO PG.

Wayne, there are several other products available at NO PG in the business world. Perhaps, to you, they seem insignificant or irrelevent. For others, well, it is their prerogative - just as much as it is your choice to PG everything. I am hopeful that many who have gone down the NO PG/Net 30 road are making fiscally responsible choices, but in the end it is their choice.

If you read my response it read Sam's club/home depot "etc". Etc meaning the rest of NO PG vendor accounts. This is a business forum to help business owners right? Why would you want ANYONE wasting their money if you can show them a better way?

Seems like a combination of all is how to build business credit properly. Not that you have to do everything to a T but if anyone has read the 101 provided I think a lot of us have all tried to pick up every option for tl's to help with the different biz cb's and their reporting.

OP, did you remember to ask about cli's? Are they hp or sp? You were probably floored with the sweet approval but if you did remember plz plz tell me.

Ultimately it was my goal to eventually get no PG CCs, so that I wouldn't get HPs on personal for BIZ apps. Unfortunately due to the situation with not being able to get D&B number, that path has hit a roadblock for now.

So now I try to be on the lookout for SP only options, which aren't that abuntant past the Net30 options.

I think you're doing great and sometimes I wonder if it looks better that you have enough confidence in your business to give a pg. I pg everything that asks for it. I mean without my business I'm nothing anyway....might as well. Wishing you continued success, wishing all of you that!

I was also approved for this card but it is taking forever to arrive. I am thinking because of mail forwarding with my business. How long did it take for your card to arrive OP?

I've seen where after 2 weeks someone has needed to call them only to find out that they need to go in-branch and present verification. So if you've been waiting longer than 2 weeks you need to phone them, better yet drive to a branch and inquire.
