Hi and welcome to the forums

Lenders can pick whether they want to pull score with EX Boost or not.

To a lender, that's an option they have to pick. If they've opted out, regular EX score is pulled.

I'm not sure how Chase treats boost, Amex ignores it.

I think you should provide additional data about your profile and try to assess your chances that way.

My guess would be Chase is going to ignore Boost.

I know that Chase is currently pulling FICO2 Bankcard scores from your Experian report when approving new card applications. At least that's the one they pulled for me when I applied for the Chase Freedom in November.

Since then my credit has improved some and I'm interested in the Chase Business Cash Ink card. Will Chase see my Experian boost or is that not listed in the report that they pull from?

Hi and welcome to the forums, OP! I think your thread should be in the "General Credit Topics" section, but I'm sure a MOD will help with that.
Experian boost increases Experian Fico 8 scores, so if Chase or any lender pulls your EX8, they should see your new, increased score. However, I don't remember if it helps boost other scores such as EXP Bankcard scores. Hopefully, someone can chime in.

I didn't know Amex doesn't use Ex Boost score. It's been awhile since I've checked my score through them. So I was curious and viewed my score via their app and sure enough, they don't. Thank you for sharing. Definitely good to know!

Experian Boost is more of a gimmick than a real feature. It might make you feel better though. Most banks are looking for your real FiCO score and are not really in the mood for it to be messed with. If they are happy to have it adjusted they have their own scoring model that reshuffles values that they use with FiCO. Where Experian Boost shines is when someone has no real credit history. By signing up to this service a bank can get the additional data to feed into their computer to make FiCO work if it is available. Basically it is like a limited version of VantageScore that is instead based on FiCO.

It was tempting to get service credit listed on my Experian report because it's currently being supressed by a collections account.

Long term this seams like the juice isn't worth the squeeze as I'm giving up a lot of financial privacy by linking all my accounts to Experian with questionable benefit.

Thanks for the replies.
