AmEx Lowe's business card

I am a retired gardener (a real one lol) and now I started to do some odd work as a contractor for my townhouse community and it occured to me it would qualify me for a business card. And since I live close to a Lowe's and purchase gardening stuff regularly from them I am thinking a Lowe's card would be great. I also purchase from Amazon and I have access to Prime through my family and there is no need for me to pay for Prime or get a Amazon card.

Does anyone have any information about the Lowe's business card by Amex? How strict is the underwriting?

Not anymore strict than normal I'd say, and since you're already an Amex cardholder you shoudln't have any problems. Not knowing any of your DP's though it's difficult to truly say. It will depend greatly on your personal file, likely a score higher thanb 700 with no derogs and no more than 2-3 recently opened accounts in the past 6 months.

No gurantees, but since you have the BCE it should be a SP for the Biz app so no harm in trying.

However, ther have been some recent denials that seem to point to stricter UW. So just be preapared for that possible denial.

I went ahead and applied and got approved for $10,000! Couldn't believe it!

Very excited. The HOA board just on Wed voted to approve the budget for a retaining wall project and I can now start using the card as soon as it comes.

That's great, congrats!

I really do like Amex, they have a card for just about anything and decent SL's!

Though I'm at my ceiling with them now, so no more aps for me. lol
