I cancelled 3 amex business cards when can I apply again?

Hello guys I am new to forum.

I currently have two personal creditcards from Amex (platinum and gold delta)

I had plum, business gold and blue business which were tied to my old business so I had to cancel it since i decided to get rid of my old business (LLC)

Now I have a new business with new EIN. I would love to get back my business gold card but I am afraid amex might think that I am just going for sign up bonuses which I am not obviously.

How long should I wait before signing up again?

You could try to apply and see if you get the dreaded "Pop Up"?

Then you could always back out at that point.

Your question is specifically regarding the fear of how Amex will view you for opening another Business Gold. Do not worry about that; Amex loves their charge cards and will gladly welcome back someone willing to pay the annual fee and run charges through the card.

In regards to the bonus, keep in mind that Amex usually includes "lifetime" language in their terms and conditions. Meaning, if you have already earned a bonus of any kind for that particular card type, you will be ineligible for bonuses for that card type in future as you already earned your once-in-a-lifetime bonus. There are exceptions: some people have gotten lucky and earned it again or Amex occasionally omits the "lifetime" language.

Regardless, do not let the (lack of a) bonus deter you from getting a card you need.

Please update the forum in the business section if you decide to apply again.

I just applied for business gold amex under my new business. It was approved instantly without any hard pulls.

Even though I got a message saying that I wont be receiving another sign up bonus but I dine out so much that 4x on restaurants literally pay itself.

And i guess the DP's show that once in a lifetime is tied to the NAme on the account, and not so much considered a new entity.
