How do I change SIC code on Experian Business Credit report?

Hello MyFicoers!

I have a question. I am new to the business world and I finally generated my first business credit report with experian. However, the SIC code is incorrect. Does anyone know how I can change it? Also, is there a way to do this for free? Because Experian seems to want a hefty sum to access your Business credit file. Thank you all for your help!

If you were able to obtain a cr on your biz see if you can find "Key Personnel". If not, you may have to call in to request a way to update, other than purchasing a year's subscription.

To make changes, look under "key personnel" (upper left), select "submit update" link right of "total employees". This will open up a new page "Business Profile Confirmation Form" with all of your info. and giving you the ability to make changes and submit for approval. Scroll down to find the link to lookup SIC and select the correct code. After making corrections, select submit at the bottom. Exp. Biz will email once complete.
