Amex BBC 7% for $5k Bonus Offer

Hey All,

Got this email from Amex a couple days ago regarding my BBC. It's not a bad offer if you're up for some specific spending. Every time you spend $500 (specifically in a single transaction), they'll give you $25 back, up to 10 times. The nice thing is that this 5% bonus is stacked above the natural 2% already earned, effectively making it 7% cash back on $5,000.

$500 / $25 = 5%
$500 * 2% from organic cash back = $10
$500 spend for $25 bonus + $10 organic rewards = $35 per $500, = 7%

This runs from now thru 6/30 so I suspect someone will be able to take advantage of this for something. 5% cash back on $5,000 spend. Keep an eye out!

Just a quick update -- this promo is working very smoothly.

I've paid 2 payments of $500 to cover property rent, and it triggered the $25 cash back for each one. The promo initially said "would apply in a couple weeks", however they are showing up and reducing the balance about 3-4 days after the charge. Already used up 2 of 10 -- they have no idea I'll max the hell out of this

$250 for something I was already paying -- oh yeah!
