Amex Marriott Business Approved - 6th Revolver

I was looking at my Amex preapprovals (or Expanding Your Membership offers as the case may be) last night, and noticed that the Marriott Business card had neither the preapproved nor the expanding your membership language. With a 100,000 points and $150 offer for $5k spend, I thought I'd go for it and I was instantly approved for my 6th revolver with Amex!

Approved for $10,000 (I only listed an annual revenue of $3,000), bringing my total Amex revolving limits to $84,500. So now I have 3 charge cards and 6 revolvers as the primary cardholder. No new accounts since June 2020, 3/24, 4 EX inquiries, EX FICO 8 score is my lowest one at 787, and income sufficient enough for Amex. Definitely looking forward to the extra 15 nights of elite night credits each year!

Honestly if anyone had a chance at number 6 then it was certainly you, Congrats on your approval!

Now that they have "supposedly" relaxed the 4 card rule I'm seriously considering closing Delta Blue and getting something different.

It may be a 5 card rule now, as recently reported on doc . Don't close until you check that to see if it's real.

Wow, that is awesome. Congrats on your new American Express business card . . . I am in the process of opening a new business also (kid's birthday party center). Looking forward to my first business credit card. Did you have to submit your business taxes or business financials? Marriott Bonvoy is my goal card and I recently found out that Chase wasn't the only Marriott card! Thanks.

Thanks everyone! I was surprised that the 15 elite night credits already hit over the weekend; Titanium almost renewed for 2022!

@babygirl1256 for Amex small business cards, everything is a personal guarantee based on the applicant's personal profile. Usually no business documents are required. Like many others, my business is just that I sell things on eBay from time to time so my 3 cards are as a sole proprietor with my name as the business name. Amex is rather lax on the distinction between personal and business cards. If you have incorporated or set up a LLC, you would use the business name instead. The app will ask for actual (for existing businesses) or estimated revenue (for new businesses).

I just checked and I saw this offer in my Amex online account too!!

Normally I don't apply to the card unless it says SPEACIAL OFFER FOR YOU(which the platninum and the blue cash offers disappeared for me after May 1st 😢...but have enlightened me.

I have 3 credit and 1 charge card under personal so far... I'll Let you know how it goes.
