Wells Fargo Platinum Card + BLOC Approved

No Current relationship. Had a checkings w them in 2004.

Went in to sign up for checking+Credit products.

After Checking was opened she said I have product offers for Business platinum up to 25k. Accepted.

Also said I have an offer for BLOC up to $100k no fee for first year, 50$ annually after. Accepted. Did not get the details of the APR on it think she was too busy flirting.

Anyone know how long it takes for credit products to show up in online account?

I dont see the details in my login, just a checking account w $500 on it (minimum to not be charged fees monthly).

Personal EX is about ~808 Fico right now, 5 Inquiries the past week/6months (Citi AA, Chase Biz Unlimited, Staples, Home Depot, something else I forgot), 18 total the past year (picked up some vehicles).

2% Util, no baddies/lates,

It usually takes up to 48 hours (give or take) for products to be linked to your online profile. Did you get approved for the full amounts or what were the set amounts?

Thnx baby girl and finstar.

Approved for the 25k card and 100k bloc. She said that's the max for the bloc and the other block didn't auto populate an offer but I could run credit for it if I was interested, the other two products were SP offers when opening checking. I checked Experian nothing came up for HP/INQ yet.

I dont have any direct experience with them regarding credit products, my personal card is an AU from the wife and my checking account from 2004(?) has been dead for over a decade lol.

So far no HP from them yesterday when I opened the biz accounts.

@AzCreditGuy Just got off the phone with a branch manager at Wells Fargo. In the words of the manager...we pull credit for a business bank account its a soft pull we usually pull Experian and see if you qualify for anything else like a cc or perhaps a BLOC.

Evidently it's Wells Fargo's process when you open a business bank account. In my research WF will not pull your ChexSystems.

Go in with strong personal. I do not know if they use SBFE and Experian biz, but since WF reports to SBFE seems natural to use that. I will know more tomorrow. Appointment with a banker is in the afternoon.

I opened up a $500 business checking account w/Wells in branch. WF soft pulled my personal Experian after signing disclosures.

I asked do you pull business credit. The banker said "yes." I'm guessing they use SBFE since that is their business reporting process. I didn't ask, but I was told you are approved for a 20k Business Platinum card. "Would you like to accept?" Definitely.

My Fico8 Experian is at 832 and I have lots of business credit on SBFE as well as on Experian biz.

The WF Business Platinum is a 1.5x business cash back credit card. Not bad. Also has a bonus $300 cb when you spend $3,000 in 90 days. Easy to meet. Also, 0% APR for the first 9 months.

Disappointed I didn't get a BLOC offer but for a soft pull and only reporting to the SBFE (it's not even a new account because it doesn't report to personal) along with the bonus and 0% APR for 9 months I consider it a win/win/win. Besides, my ChexSystems on the personal was hot. WF doesn't pull Chex.

I am very disappointed that this was not well known here on the boards, did a HP for Buss CC approved for $25k. Had I known I would have gone into the branch and applied for Buss checking and to see what other products I could been approved. Lesson learned

Good job getting the CC and BLOC without a HP.

From using the WF online small business account selector tool they acknowlege real estate and will give you a CC or BLOC for that type of a business. Their business bank account though is a $25 dollar fee if you don't keep 10,000 in that account monthly so I'm not sure about how I feel about setting up a business bank account with them.

Definitely worth checking into.
