Amex Blue Business Cash Approval

Just wanted to share my first business card process. I decided to try some things as a business with my free time and started everything this week. Registered an LLC in Florida on Tuesday night, got my EIN Wednesday morning, applied for the card Wednesday morning and got a "We need more information" email right after. I wasn't sure what this really meant, but when I clicked the link they wanted a "Company Verification" in the form of either a utility statement, bank statement, or bank letter.

I obviously hadn't thought that far ahead so I looked into fee free business bank accounts and ended up submitting an application with Novo Bank and prepared to go with NFCU as a second if I didn't hear back this week. Well I got the welcome email from Novo early this morning, checked their site to see if I could get a bank letter as I never heard of it before. It was easy to find so I downloaded that, went to the Amex site and uploaded that. Right as I headed out for lunch, I got the below from Amex:

For business income I estimated $1k per month and when I logged into the account to see the card info, I was pretty shocked to see a $9k limit. I don't think I'll need that much for my limited plans right now, but glad to see they've got my back if I do. The 12 months at 0% is definitely going to help with any early purchases before I can really establish any revenue stream.

Also want to add that the FICO score currently showing on my profile with them is 796 and my BCE is right under $25k. Main reason I went with Amex for the business card was to take advantage of two big things with them:

- Likely approval without a HP / inquiry to report (I'm somewhat looking at getting a house, not seriously but trying to be semi-clean)

- Doesn't report to personal report unless things go south (which will never happen)

All in all, happy with how things are starting out other than no instant number which I knew was a toss up going in . Just wanted to share my info in case it helps anybody that searches for info like the company verification or what the process to open an Amex business card might entail since I didn't really see that bank/utility verification stuff mentioned anywhere when I searched.

Woot on your first biz cc!!!! Gotta hand it to Amex, this $9k sl seems to be the avg. sl (at least for us mf peeps 'round here with new or old biz est) to jump start any and all future biz credit.....which is simply amazing!!!!

Less than 12 hours as a matter of fact! Just checked my emails and the payment portion was done at 11:35pm and I got the completed filing email at exactly 11am.
