Citizens Bank Everyday Points Approval - $6000

After reading @4sallypat approval post for this card, I was intrigued.

Applied online, no prior relationship with them. Application process was easy, provided personal information along with EIN. They processed my application via personal EQ SP (F8 818). Uncertain if they pulled EX Biz as well. About 2 days later, approval email was provided. I was not asked for banking information or POI.

There's a decent SUB right now including 0% APR if you should need that.

Initially they got the "further processing" email and there was some confusion since they mentioned that at the final step on the app indicated there would be a link to access the customer portal, but all they received was an email that the app was received, but then it took about 4 days and then ta-da! Did you go through something similar?

I might try them but I was on the fence until I read more reviews about it. Decisions, decisions!

Thank you...Yes, @FinStar pretty much. Approval was not instant. After applying, received a thank you email and that was it. The next day, another email requesting ID verification and requirement to access the portal. Oddly enough, the language on their upload portal says "please include 3 months of bank statements" which appears to be default language perhaps. However, the actual "real request" (the message from them) was just to upload ID so that's all I did...simply disregarded the Bank Statement language. Figured if they wanted it, they would call it out specifically. The following day, received the email approval and that was it.

For a EQ SP and EX Biz with no personal CB reporting, this was rather painless. I would suggest you check it out.

Awesome and thanks for the detailed process/explanation @cashorcharge ! Yeah, I had no clue about the Citizens portal itself since I told my colleague to check if they received another email with the link, which never came it seems (unless it went to the spam folder).

I think this is something I might end up doing in the morning 😜

I have yet to receive the Citizen's card but then can't complain since it was a SP.

This is exactly what happened with my application. Because of @4sallypat's and @cashorcharge's posts, I also became curious 🧐. So much so, that I went ahead and applied for the same card. I was moreso interested in the soft pull than the approval, CL etc plus how seamless it all seemed.

I went ahead and apped Nov. 2nd and received the same email that your colleague did. I had thought no more of it because I wasn't sure what it meant. I woke up today to an approval email from Citizen's Bank. Talk about surprised!😯. It actually is my birthday today 🥳 🎂 🎉, SO, Happy Birthday to me....😂

I have been wanting this card for a while now. I was denied early this year for having too many inquiries. They pulled my TU. So, I'm going to garden 🪴 (for real this time) until 2022-23. I don't need anymore Biz Cards! (I think 🤔 😊)

cashorcharge----These guys did not HP your personal credit file?.....I too have heard of these guys, and am building my biz credit--Have Divvy w/5k SL and some NET30 accts, with SL ranging from 1000 to 4000. If Citizen only SP personal, I will go for it. Let me know

Ok, submitted the app and received a "Under Review" message. Seems like that is par for the course with this Biz card. I see it took two days for your approval email to come back. I did NOT get any HP alerts, so thats good. My EQ file only has 6 inq this year. No badies--701 F8. We will see. Thanks for the DP cashorcharge....

I think you were the bad influence this time around.

I probably woulda walked away with a higher SL,

But all the Inqs and new accts. probably factored into some risk.

I think also applying under a fairly new DBA did not help.

Not a big deal, I am sure with some good bus. spend, I will be able to grow it.
