Amex Business Green and Blue Business Cash Applications + Others (Updates)

Got AZEO EX FICO 8 - 768 and decided to apply.

Applied for both Green (instant approval) and Blue (asked for bank statements). Tried to use their immediate online verificaiton process but no luck. Uploaded them manually. Waiting for review.

Citi Business Costco and *edit* [capital 1 spark cash select denied. Chase Ink pending review.]

Chase puts everyone into a category and either you fit their model or you don't.

(1) Chase Ink - Appoved, after a 2-3 day review

(2) Costco Business - Denied

(3) Capital One Spark 2% Cash Plus - Denied too many inquries

didn't give up, kept going, lol

(4) Amex Business Green - Approved

(5) Amex Business Blue Cash - Denied. Could not automatically confirm income with bank statements, went into a manual review. Excuses provided in denial letter had nothing to do with income, will try again in a few months. Bummed, feel if my business bank accounts could have auto confirmed my income, I would have got the auto approval. Will try again in a few months.

I wouldn't sweat it. By getting the Chase Ink card you've reached the summit, in my book. I would lay low on further applications for awhile, and concentrate on putting lots of spend on the Ink card, to get the SUB and to get their attention 6 months down the road for an auto CLI.

IMHO the Spark card is borderline useless. Who needs to have the balances from a business card reported to their personal credit?

My advice would be, once you're ready to start applying again, to go for the FNBO Business Evergreen and reapply for the Amex Business Cash, both good cards.
