Does Amex BBP Card Approval Restart the 90 Day CLI Clock

Does any one know if a Amex BBP Card Approval Restarts the 90 Day CLI Clock on personal AmEx credit cards? Seems like I read somewhere that was the case with personal AmEx chargers.

I assume that instead of "charger" you meant to say "revolver", since an Amex charge card has no credit limit.

I do not believe the issuance of an Amex card affects the CLI clock on existing Amex accounts, but I'm not knowledgeable on that issue.

No, it does not reset it.

However, if you decide to request a CLI on any AmEx revolver, and *if* approved, then you'll have to wait ~181 days (not 90) to request another one on any other revolving account you have (personal and business). 90-day waiting period typically applies to a couple things: (1) a CLI denial where credit reasons are cited, and (2) the number of American Express revolving accounts that can be approved within that timeframe (personal and/or business).

Also, charge cards have no bearing on any CLIs.
