@Janneman I was looking at their website the other day and it looks like they took any reference to the business credit cards off their website as well as any links. My guess is they are not going to offer them for a while until they get things smoothed out. You might be able to call them on the phone and ask them if there is a link available to the credit cards in case they have just made them hidden for now. They have probably went into shock not expecting the response after the card went FOTM. 🤣

But you might want to consider staying away from these folks; they seem to have bitten off more than they can chew.

This kind of reminds me of BMO Harris closing the Diners Club card applications years ago after claiming they ran out of plastic to issue them. I don't know if they ever closed down people's accounts but I closed mine about a year after as I didn't have much use for it anymore. They also gave out pretty decent limits from what I recall and then got swamped with applications.

Just checked and it looks like Diners Club still claims to be improving their application. Must be some update 8ish years in the making.

@ErikGrimaldi - Actually, they shut down the pipeline not due to shortage of plastics, but rather individuals abusing the platform and BMO Harris got overwhelmed with the large influx of applications. They're not the only lender that has done it nor will be the only one doing it in the future.

Today, the Diners Club card still lives on (I still have both), even for those folks who have the legacy DC cards from Citigroup. Nothing has been shutdown for those of us who still have the cards 🤷‍♂️

The phone number for BHG loans is 866 297 4311. I called this morning and ask if they take applications over phone for creditcards for business and was yes. The lady was pushy she ask if I wanted to apply over the Phone she told that only thing she needed was my ssn and ein and mo docs or copys of bank records would be needed I was that hard pull would be done and that they use Trans union it looks like they are not looking at business credit but your Transunion. She also said that this is hidden credit line. I don't have good feeling about this company. I do have a DBA that I have not used in years.

I don't have a good feeling about them either.

I have experienced lengthy delay in activating card, fake fraud concerns used as excuse, low level robotic call center scripted customer service, dropped transactions, dropped linked accounts.

Others have reported even more extreme delays in activation, bait and switch on loans with horrendous insulting loan terms eventually offered.

The fact that their credit cards have been wiped from the face of the internet suggests that they got in over their head.

Hi just up date I was on the computer today and got an email from BhG business credit card they are trying to still get new customers for ther cards, I did call them back and got same lady the last time did not bite just fraid to give my ssn and other data don't have good feeling about this bank. below is copy of email that I got.

@firefox100 - it appears the info you were provided is by the BHG Financial arm and not the BHG Money entity. BHG Money is a partner/brand under BHG Financial.

BHG Money Credit Cards (powered by BHG Financial) are backed/issued by Blue Ridge Bank. BHG Financial (Bankers Healtcare Group) appears to have different products. For example, the Platinum Rewards MasterCard information you were provided is not the same family of products that were available by BHG Money, such as: BHG WORLD ELITE Mastercard®, BHG MORE Business Mastercard® or the BHG POWER Business Mastercard®.

I see on another thread that BHG more business creditcard being shot down, is this different then email that I got. I think just going to stay away I may call and this lady about what is going on and she what BS I get. I would love to get a card that does not show up, I do have DBA that I could use.

I think you have to ask yourself, what's the motivation for applying @firefox100? Are you just wanting to be part of the herd or club?

Also, have you reviewed the recent reports (here and elsewhere) about the BHG Money credit cards being restricted...and more recently closed?

If you want to avoid any headaches and potential 'rants' then my suggestion is to go with alternative business cards from other financial institutions. Bottom line, just because it looks like an easy find or enticing low hanging fruit, it doesn't always mean it's the best outcome as some members are already finding out 🤷‍♂️

If you don't want the business tradelines to report to personal CRAs, then don't apply for biz cards from TD Bank, Discover or Capital One, for example. Biz cards from US Bank, ELAN, Chase, American Express, PNC, FNBO, Citi, Citizen's, Bank Of America, etc., do not report to personal CRAs unless you default.
