Business PayPal Master Card Approval

Was looking at other cards to add to my aresenal of 2% or 2X return on spending for my business (inventory based business outside of my main business). Wanted to have some extra capital just in case but what caught my attention was the 3% back when PPMC is used as payment for businesses that accepted PP. Applied for the card, no HP (had applied once before but got declined due to freeze; lifted the freeze prior to the application and did not get a notification for a HP; YMMV). Instantly approved.

SL - $7,500

FICO 8 TU (which was tried to pull from when i initially applied but declined) - 777

AAoA - 4 years

INQ in the passed 24 months on TU - 4

Personal UTI time of applicaiton - 2% of $203k

Business UTI time of application - 20% of $120k

Paydex Score - 80

5/24 Status prior to application - 5/24

Other cards approved business cards this year - CIC (January)

Stated income - $140k

Business Type - Corporation taxed as an S Corp

Congratulations. I recently got that card too. In my case I received a $2500 SL, and did get a hard pull on TU.

Yes, the great feature about the card is the 3% cash back when using it with PayPal; I have some vendors who accept payment via PayPal, so it's getting a workout.

Yes. I kept getting the "invitation" to apply via email. I've had a PP Business account since i incorporated back in 2018 to accept payment for consulting services i offer thru my main business.

Congratulations on the approval! I've been considering this card myself, but I'm not sure yet if it's worth the HP. I know you mentioned you haven't received notification of the HP, but their disclosure says it's only a SP if you're denied.

yes. you be correct. it was a SP. never got a HP for the applcation of the card.

I indeed did experience a HP on TU.

But some forum members have reported getting approved for the card without one.
