Well Fargo (WF): BLOC CLI Timeline

Hey myFICO Family,

I recently applied and was approved in person for a WF BLOC with a credit limit of $11,000. I believe I would have gotten a larger limit, but I provided the wrong gross and net income for the business I wanted to apply under. The business banker tried to talk with the underwriters, but the loan had already been approved... I am curious how the credit limit increases work for this type of credit and bank. This is my first time banking with WF; I only have the BLOC with them now.

Has anyone recently or in the past requested a CLI for their WF BLOC? If so, how was the process, and did you get a significant increase?

FICO Scores are in the mid to high 700's

I don't know the answer, but the banker with whom you spoke would be a good resource. That person already checked with underwriters to assist you. That's where I would start, since you have built at least a small amount of rapport.

I'm curious to see what others say....if there's experience with this. I have 2 BLOC's with WF and have never asked for a CLI so I too am curious if it's HP or SP and what factors would warrant better results.
