I am in the early stages of setting up a business (sole propriator now and after a few weeks, I am going to C Corp). I have 3 biz cards (CIC, Amex Gold/BBC).

While the next cards can be CIC/Amex Plat (I prefer CC with 0% APR in the first year, instead of charge cards that need PIF), which other business cards do you recommend for sole propriator (early stage with thin business profile<1y)?

Is it too early to go for BOA or US Bank?

Also, does Capital One require three inquiries for business cards?

For a Sole Prop that might required proof for revenue, based off my experience it might be best to wait until your C-Corp is formed.

Capital One always do a triple pull no matter if its personal or BIZ. However unless your are approved for their Spark 2% Cash Plus (Charge) Card, the rest of their BIZ card line up will report to your personnel CRs.

If you're forming a corporation within a few weeks it's pointless to apply for cards until you do.

2. As far as I'm concerned, I can't see why you need other cards. The Chase Ink and Amex Blue Business Cash are as good as it gets.

3. I would stay away from Capital One, with its triple pulls and reporting to personal.

4. IMHO it's too early to apply for anything, since you're about to start a corporation.

Thanks @SouthJamaica. I needed a few more CL with 0% APR to cover the costs of C Corp formation and evolve it, till raising VC fund. Unexpectedly, I got approved for BBP/CIU .

I thought that CIU would not get approved, since it went under review for 2 days. I had a prior offer from Amex on BBP, applied and got an instant approval. After an hour, I received a call from Chase to review the application . They asked lots of questions on both Sole Prop and C Corp, business product, business revenue projection and my customers. After a brief hold, it was approved.
