Spark Cash Plus Charge Card Approved

Cap One had a $2k bonus for 30k spend in 3 months, which isn't the best return because of the high-spend but I was running out of unused options for cashback/points worth over $1k or so. Checked the pre-approval first which said I was good to go.

No idea what the spending limit is yet. Probably won't stick with it after the first year since I find the Cap One customer service to be pretty dense and annoying to deal with for a card with an AF. Chase Ink's CS isn't that good either - I think you only get U.S.-based support with the Sapphire line. Amex's crew is usually the best IMO for biz accounts, even though it's offshore as well but they seem to have much better reps amd the chat feature saves a ton of time vs having to call in for everything.

Grats on that. I've been looking at it, but to get the returns I want, I have to wait for sales to grow more. You are correct on the cs difference between cap 1 and amex...

They don't seem to give me an immediate number to use either - annoying as I'm trying to get moving on the 30k spend which is still a good amount for my biz too! They did give an immediate number with my older free Spark Select, though. Guess I'll be waiting for the physical card via standard mail, since the indian support just reiterates "sir it is a security measure sir please doublecheck back every day and maybe it will change i do not have a date of availability"

CapOne takes forever to send these out. Been 4 days already since I was approved and they still haven't even produced the card yet. No virtual number or ability to add to apple pay so can't use it for now. Pretty lame service for a biz charge card with annual fee. I would call in to tell them to expedite it, but don't feel like ending up in another endless loop conversation with one of their staff in india

This card and Cap One service both kinda suck so far. I don't think they're anywhere near ready to issue a card for larger volume business transactions like this. It seems to decline larger purchases even after approving their spend in their shadowy purchase-approval portion of their website. Once you call in the offshore reps don't seem to have any idea what's going on and just make up answers as they go. Would not recommend wasting your time with this card, just go straight to the Ink Premier. There's a reason they have to bribe you with a 2k signup to use this thing.

I got this card at the beginning of the year and it has worked pretty good for me thus far. Got my spend bonus completed and recently used it for a single transaction on 41k...no issues. 2% cash back is available as soon as the charge posts. I usually cash that out and put into their Performace 360 savings account as soon as I can.

there is no set limit, similar to AMEX, but will slowly 'warm up' after a few months of decent spend and prompt payments. Prompt being paid on time, or if you really wanna Wow C1, pay early. My next purchase of 89k will test them again...probably in June....we will see!
