Why does the Costco business cc only show option request cli as hard pull? I asked others, but they had personal Costco cc, and their request is soft pull every six months.What is the difference? Do you have any tips for this? Thank you in advance.

nothing you can do other than keep checking it and see if the language changes

can always try with your credit frozen, but based on the language you're seeing, they're going to want the reports unfrozen for the HP

My personal experience here. I have costco business visa, S-corp, SL was 7k, using that about 4 months (always max out limit and always pay off).

First CLI was rejected because all of my credit report was frozen.

Second CLI was approved but not instant approval because it stated that they will do hard pull credit in 24 hour, next day they HP my experian personal credit, and approved for the amount that I request which is 14k.

My wife have personal costco visa, CLI was only softpull and instant approval.

Hi,

Just about last month, I could request CLI no hard pull on the Citi website, and from now on, they only do soft pull for CLI for my business Costco card.

Just did CLI request on business card after 6 months. There was no mention of a hard pull anywhere and none that I can tell was done.
